Anyone have any experience with this. My friend has it in his Mazada and it works great. Just not sure how it would work in a Bimmer. I hear its harder to intercept BMW's stations (i dunno)

Let me know what you guys think. Should I?
Aux input is only good for my car, but with this DLO Transpod I can use it in any car.

Try your friends out and see if it works in the BMW? If yes, go for it

i had one prior to getting my 530i. it's a previous generation transpod so the design is some what different. the prob i have in the e60 is the weight of the iPod (40gb) doesn't allow it to stay in place (due to the collapsing feature of the cig lighter). but if you place an object so it won't collapse then it's ok. stations come in fine. no engine noise.

I had a DLO TransPod Direct.
Had to return it for a refund.
It had terrible alternator noise.
I do not recommend.

I have the DLO transpod, works ok in our van with a crappy sound system but not in the e60. Alternator noise and too much interference. Coated glass may be the issue. I wouldn't recommend it. I'd vote for the aux input.

Transpod is still an FM transmitter.
I don't recommend either, however.

Man Ipod Video is such a great toy... I was able to Decrypt a DVD (Star Wars IV) and convert it to an MP4. I can now watch the movie on the small screen of my Ipod... you get used to it.
