Took the car to the DIY wash place today....only after I soaped it up did I realize that they could be using
crap-quality soap on the brushes and I had no way of knowing.
Here are some pics. They aren't the best quality because I took them as an afterthought with my iPhone 3G.
Funny story....some 20-something guy with a old pickup truck was washing his car with what I assumed was his little 18 year
old girlfriend chatting away on her cell phone. She had on these tremendously short shorts and I found it
funny that every time I was washing the right hand side of my car (which faced them) she would be bending
over, her tight little ass showing off in those short shorts.
Needless to say when I pulled forward to vacuum my car, dude made a hasty retreat with chick in tow.
Too bad I'm spoiled on South O.C. women....or I might have to take a run through the mud out with the chicks
out here in the ghetto South Bay. There's some pretty halfway decent looking women out here. Not the quality
I'm used to back home, but good enough after a few beers...

This was a great DIY. Thanks bimmerspeed. Got home from work and the box from Trinity was on the front porch. I followed it step by step and the actual install took probably 15 minutes. I already had the torx bit and Mechanix gloves. I spent about 10-15 additional minutes cleaning and waxing the exposed area after disassembly since I figured I wouldn'y get another chance anytime soon. Thanks Trinity and Nerweezy...and Frank for the info! -Calvin

Fantastic DYI. I found this very helpful, once I quit being a sissy and started to really bend that bumper. If you don't have gloves for this install, your hands are toast. 20 min TOPS post-sissy.
