Hey guys.
I'd like to put cruise control on my e60 2006 and on some forums i found that i need to change dashboard in some cases, but it didn't know how to be sure do i need it or not.
Search in the Google show me some topics form Spain with some discussions but i didnt understan? them at all. Use google translator but its still worse.
Has anybody any ideas? Any links will be appreciated.

I'm almost sure you won't need to change the dashboard.
You will need to buy the cruise control stalk and maybe a few other parts and do some coding.

To make sure if you want change the dashboard or not you need to make test number 2 to see if you have cruise-control pointer going round speedometer.

After that i've made complete upgrade of car sw and some coding and cruise starts working

Yup, in some places they come with out cup holders as well.

I´m from Germany and want to retrofit the Cruise control to.
I have no dahshboard with the circling Point around the speedometer.
Need I a new dashboard or is it still possible to code the cruise control?

I'm doing the same retrofit of cruise control on my E60 528 2008.
I have ordered the following parts.
1) CRUISE CONTROL SWITCH 03/2007~ 6 131 695 1352
2) Front section of trim panel 12/2003~ 6 131 694 7773

Are there any other parts I should order?

And while coding SA 540A option, no error message during coding? like steering wheel calibration.
Please help me. THANKS

E60-Gaser: I think the correct SA code should be S540A not S541A(Active Cruise control).

are there any news about the topic. I want to retrofit, but haven't the cycling point around my speedometer.
Can I retrofit my cruise control without a new combi instrument / dashboard?

Actually nothing works. Installation of the szl and coding is done.

So far, the new kombi is necessary. My current one has no speed pointer.
I'm looking for the trick without exchanging old kombi as mentioned above.
