if you know anything about Dinan, they are extremely picky with whom they authorize to be their dealer. my sponsor is listed as a authorized dealer on Dinan's website. once your software is upgrade, all of the car's info gets shot over to Dinan and you can check with them directly.

i didnt trust the upsolute that much that's why i had been hesitating as they seemed like a mom and pops shop or even worse out of a garage, some guy download a software and tune ur car. I'd rather go to a shop. I went to motor works west in Wyckoff, NJ. They only do BMW cars. The software came from a mini Dinan laptop kind of thing. Took about a 15-20 min and it was done. Definitely felt the difference. Throttle response was much better. Dunno about the power part but it sure is worth it.

Thing is I just found out that their is nothing available for my car (07 530xi) offered from Dinan. So I guess Im going for the Upsolute method. I understand what you mean about the trust issue. I called a number off of the upsolute site and spoke with the closest contact to me. I later found out he dosent even have an office and will just do it out if his garge(house) or he is willing to drive to my place. WTF do I know eh? Im calling upsolute about the procees to become a Upsolute retailer and discuss this mans credability with them. Prolly gonna get it done within a week or so. Will post feedback on what I can tell is different with my car, or will be posting a horrow story. Which ever it is, stayed tuned!
