Everything I read says that at full throttle SB doesn't make a difference.
I could be wrong though.
It makes sense since you are stepping on the gas pedal at 100%, so where's the 30% from the sb going to be coming from.

that is correct at full throttle, since the throttle body is 100% completely open already.

Dusan initially ordered just the left side scoop. after a while he called me saying that he is planning to get the Dinan intake and will be needing the right side scoop. since you already have the dinan, best to get both scoops. we have them in stock too

What I meant was I like the feeling of Stage3 + SB when I floor it. Perhaps full throttle is the wrong word.

when i had the dinan stage 1 ecu remap, the SB was too jumpy for me. I have a heavy foot so maybe that's why.

Yesterday I put my SB back on for the first time since I
got the Dinan mods and I have to say that I didn't like it.

First of all, the RPM at idle was at 750 as opposed to 500.
This can't be good for the car or for fuel mileage.

Second, it was way to jumpy. More erratic than responsive.
Hard to drive smoothly.

Before I got the S3 I absolutely loved my SB but
now its just to much. The responsivness you get from the S3
its just enough for a spirited drive and smooth enough for
your commute to work.

I know there are some members on this forum that have
both and like it. I would like to get some feedback from them.

In the end, it was just wasn't for me.

P.S. I have a Sprint Booster for sale.

Look, if I had a beastly 550 I would probably feel the same. However, I am currently debating on hiring a personal pit crew to push my 530 at stop lights so it can go a little faster.

P.S. - What's worse is now my E60 is slowly beginning to look more and more aggressive which means at stop lights people are challenging me and all I can really do is wave and go 5 mph.

P.P.S. - Come to think of it, I'm never racing my car at stop lights again after I got beaten by some mid-90's Bonneville. So embarrassing. Some of you guys have no idea how stupid-slow this 225hp I-6 is. Feels like 150 hp under 40 mph. After 40 mph it gets way faster. Airflow problem? who knows.
