Fred (my530i) the Sprint Booster you installed in your 550i is very responsive and price reasonable too. I test drive Fred's E60 yesterday and
the enhancement is noticeable, no more throttle lags during acceleration

Gaining 15-20hp is not worth it and unnoticable. I did it on my previous 530i for gaining 13hp or so, but there is absolutely no difference. Throttle still lags big time.

My Ride: 2004 545i 6spd, blk on blk, HRE 540R 20x9 in front and 20x10 in rear with Pirelli PZero Neros 245/25/20 front and 295/25/20 rear. H&R springs, and Eisenmann quad exhaust, V! radar detector, black grille, limo tint all around.

If you're going to get the software, I'd spend the extra $200 so you have software that is tuned for your car. In the end, it should help you get the most out of your mods.
