Awesome!!!! Nice to see those HP numbers from a factory authorized tuner. Please update on your fuel economy in your normal daily commuting. No doubt the MPG will be down on the 0-100 runs!!!

545i SMG
The 545 and 535 Dinan downloads are very different as are the power increases. I paid $1900, out the door, but that was for 84 more hp and 121 more ft lbs gross. The 545 flash give only a few, like 6-8hp and 8 ft lbs, so I would think your cost would be much less.

I was told that the Dinan dealers will have the 2008 connector in about two weeks. That means they can do it at the dealer now in about two hours.

Steve Dinan himself told me that reflashes of any Dinan software are always free of charge whenever a BMW iDrive/Progman update is installed, thus deleting the Dinan software. Once the Dinan program is erased, the car does return back to factory settings and is quite noticeable, especially in terms of throttle response (or lack of response, to be more accurate).

Sorry to be unclear in my earlier post...my dealer said they would charge for their tech's time to do the Dinan reflash...you don't pay Dinan for Dinan software upgrades OR BMW updates that cause you to have to reinstall the Dinan software...hope that makes more sense?
