DINAN Performance Engine Software for 545 auto
#1
Due to the defect SB unit messed up the car's computer and caused error message, I am thinking to have the DINAN Performance Engine Software downloaded instead. It costs $499.99 with half hour labor. Worth it?
Thank you.

IMO, it's worth it if you already have a few Dinan mods on your car, mainly the throttle body/CAI/exhaust. If you just go for the software by itself, you'll truly see nothing more than 'slighty' better throttle response. That's about it. Then there's the ability to exceed 155 mph, but who does that on a daily basis? Not worth spending $500+ bucks unless you plan to add more mods.
I was also thinking about the Dinan signature package but it will cost $5000 instead. I guess I am just kind of upset and disappointed that the SB did not work out and wanted to have something filled in instead......

IMO, I believe the Dinan engine software upgrade is worth it. Noticed much better throttle response in DS Mode and when passing cars on freeway. I also have the Supersprint exhaust as well. If you do a lot of city driving then it's probably not worth it.
