I was wondering if anybody installed Dinan's Intake System and Throttle Body in their cars. If yes what difference did you notice in the performance??
Hi Berm:

Check out the first "Mind Candy" thread in my sig. Then, check out this tread. Be sure and read all the way through. These threads contain mucho info for one thinking of mods. I am posting on the linked thread now--if my graphs will attach.

Znod this is great write up. O yeah and I still think that there is not much difference between 545 and 550 in performance.

Thanks Berm. I expect a .3 to 60 difference on average. Did you check the first "Mind-Candy" tread in my sig too?

I checked all of your treads, and it's amazing how much you can improve if you put your E60 on little diet.

Had CAI intstalled today!
Noticeable difference in throttle and HP.
To compare..... it's like I added a Under drive pulley system to the car. Very noticeable in the top end range of the RPM'S.

I'll post pics as soon as I can.

Had it done at Long Beach BMW.

Great. I will be calling Dinan to inquire or complain tomorrow. I ordered the second day the CAI was on the Web. When did you order? Why don't you buy a GT2, and join us on the G-meter thread.

Order was placed around mid December by my Authorized Dealership.
However, Dinan pushed backed the due date to 2nd week of Jan.

Sounds good. Do you feel you lost any low end performance?
