After way too much contemplation I went for it. Should be here in a week or so. I lamented over first doing an exhaust as the stock unit is an excellent muffler just too quiet. Then it was between a Remus and Dinan as for sound they fit my likes best. The Dinan was 500 bucks more but in the end I justified it dividing 500 by how many years I will drive the car and so i did it. Cant wait for it to arrive.
Scott and Dinan is a really god salesperson by the way. He descirbed so well that I felt I was truly going to miss not owning one. Great customer support!!
I could not find a sound clip of the Dinan exhaust for the 545i anywhere. I will try to post one once I get it and install it.

My Ride: Dinan 545i
Great decision, Steve! You won't regret it.
I got my car handwashed this morning and when they started it up to move it, my Dinan exhaust gave off a beautiful sounding growl - even the carwash guys had to comment on the great sound...

thanks guys, really good to hear you still enjoy yours! I have never done an aftermarket exhaust so not sure what to expect. I did not buy it for the performance just the sound so if i feel the power difference then even better.
