Does anyone have or have used a Dinan exhaust and can give me some info on how the system sounds? I've heard many sound bites for B&B, Eisenmann and Remus and so far, I liked the sound and description of the Remus the most but would also like to get an idea of how the Dinan exhaust sounds.
TIA.

Here is a wav file of an E39 with a Dinan exhaust that stream sent to me a while back. IMO, the 540 had the potential for a much better exhaust note than the E60, so a new V8 may not sound as well as the previous generation.

Here's the site that sound clip came from, which has a few other clips. I think the Dinan (at least on the 540 and 740 that I've heard clips of) sounds great--not too loud until you get on it, and then it has a scream to it--very Italian, if you know what I mean.

Wow, that sounded great. Thanks JDN. Curious why you would think the E60 won't make as good a sound?
I Think that the dinan - remus- kellerner - eisenmann are all about the same.
I think that the b&B - borla are about the same - sounds more like a muscle car

I've been loving the sound of the Remus and I was close to getting it....but a part of me is now tempted more and more to go with all Dinan. I am seriously considering dropping my car off for a day to get the intake, throttle body and exhaust installed and not tell my wife... I may just wait for them to come out with their software programming and do it all then.

I'm pretty sure if you swapped into a Dinan exhaust while also plugging in the Dinan airbox, you'd get the same throaty growl that a Borla provides.
This worked on the E46 M3 - nice deep Borla exhaust note without the added weight.
