Does anyone any experience with the Dinan CAI being used in conjunction with the RPI scoops?

I currently have the RPI scoop with the BMC filter and a carbon filter delete on my 550i and was curious to see what kind of gains could be seen with the addition of the Dinan CAI and an extra scoop.

Or does everyone think the Dinan gains are mostly from the removal of the stock air filter and the carbon filter being removed.

Thanks!

Same setup Im saving for, expensive setup.

The horsepower gain on the setup you're thinking about is 18, so there is no way most of it is just from the filter. I think the addition of another air intake is a big part of it, also that the parts are heat resistant not allowing the engine heat up the air running through the intakes

Joe has complete custom scoops by RPI, but yes we have put on the scoops as for an M5 for the v8s with the Dinan intake

What kind of results did you see over the single sccop and BMC filter?

I wouldn't buy the dinan intake...It's a waste of money....You won't gain any horsepower out of it....Spend your money on something else....

Honestly out of all the R&D that Dinan does I bet that there is an increase in hp.
There intake is completely enclosed. The only reason I still have m afe cai is bc of the sound.

The Dinan intake is cool, but not worth the money. I do believe it gained some HP/TQ, but with the scoops it does definately help. We don't have any dyno numbers on the Dinan intake/RPI scoops.
