My Ride: 545 modded the F out
Hey thanks brother! No luck at all on that hood but I saw this hood on a new thread in the Mods forum here and I really like the M3 style hood this guy's got on his grey 545i. Love to hear what you think about it. I would paint it all solid body color.

Whuttup Mike,
Thats the one I mentioned to you via PM. If I'm not mistaken that's the one that Chris has on his M5. It's the only other hood out there in production that looks dope. GET IT!

Maybe it's just the pictures but those offsets look perfect. Can't the rubbing be emlinated if you roll your fenders?

Yeah it is pretty darn close but not perfect. Rear fenders were rolled so they are fine. You can't really roll fronts. You can squeeze a tiny bit of bend out of the inner fender well, which we have done. It is missing the fender itself by maybe 1mm but it is hitting inner plastic liner. I don't want to remove that and it is too close to the actual fender for comfort. Rubs on the smallest of bumps on nice flat roads. They need to be somewhere between ET 16 and ET18 I believe. HRE made them with ET9.
