A......newbie Question here i guess

As said in the Title....Whats the difference between the X-pipes and the Straight Pipes for the Quad Exhaust

From what I understand the x-pipe equalizes flow throughput and enhances (reduces actually) low rpm torque loss.

I'd take a guess that the mufflers on each side might not be perfectly equal so a different amount of back pressure on straight through pipes would lead to uneven back pressure at the engine effecting performance. The X equalizes the pressure back up to the engine.
