Diesel Chip

Anyone bought or know much information on the chips that are available for the diesels, or the ECU reprogrammers ?

This has been discussed before and we talked about the ACS dieselchips. They will give the car a lot more oompf!

Independend tuners do dieseltuning too but always watch out for warranty issues.

you have a 525d aswell.

Originally i was going to get it remapped by a company in hampshire called DMS autommotive and they say that it is undectable by BMW diagnostics. Later on, i was having a conversation with Kahn and he said that there computers might not detect it but when they drive it they will notice it. Also je said that when it goes in for a service or software update it might get wiped off.

So now i am waiting for the ACS chip.

Have you thought about Tuning boxes,very quick DIY install and uninstall for service time.Some info HERE.
There are many more companies that do these,I had one on my 330D it was amazing.

Yes there is,the box number is CR72 takes it to 258HP-600NM torque.These are the minimum figures they quote,browse the site they do not quote a maximum.

so thats the minimum for a 530d. WOW. whats the maximum then?
