My Ride: 2008 535i Options: Sports Pkg/ Premium Pkg/ Navigation/ USB(iPod) Mods: Tint (lolololol) any ideas? I LOVE THIS CAR!!! (WAAAAAYYYYY better than my previous MB E350, but quite a bit more expensive :( )

Hey guys....just painted my grilles....sanded it...primed it....and painted it....TURNED OUT GREAT!

Just one question...did I need to add clear coat??? One of my friends said it is likely to chip if clear coat isn't added....

it will chip whether u clear it or not. just leave it if u like the flat look.

Good job on the DIY bro, looks good. It will stand up a lot better if you remembered to sand, primer and then paint though. Good luck and post pics when mounted.
