Please forgive my audio newbness, but what's that thing on the trunk lid? Sub? And what's lux? Your car is murder on the outside ,the inside is well done but not for me , you should do very well at the shows.

It is just a logo sign illuminated. All LED lighting is attached to the trunk lighting system, so they only come on when the trunk is opened. It is etched plexi.

I am so shocked that so many people are against diamond stitched interiors. Either everyone thinks lambos and bentleys are overdone, or that those
interiors dont belong in 5 series. I have seen it in CLS, G35, and bunch of show cars.

I did it over the top on purpose because I work for a magazine, and I will be featuring my car in it, and I needed to be on a certain level to make it in.

Diamond stitch is out of the ordinary which is why I think lots of people don't care for it, it stands out. I personally don't think it looks bad on your car, but if you took it and put it in a stock e60 I think it would look out of place. Off topic, I saw a CLS AMG 2 nights ago with burberry print interior and I thought it looked pretty sweet.

I was just in the process of selling my car audio and deciding against doing a system in my car and now after seeing your car I'm having second thoughts...

The crazy thing is originality is key on this forum. And if 1 person says... I don't like it. Everyone doesnt. Lol enjoy your car and all the efforts on it. I've seen plenty of diamond stitched luxury cara and all look clean. Including yours.

I like the diamond stitching. I would go for aluminum trim instead of carbon fiber just to make it pop a little more in the all-black interior. but it still looks good the way you have it.
