This is my first post in this forum. Have got hands on a Dension Gateway 500 to my E61 520d 2007 LCI. I have the Nav Pro but no CDC or CDc preparation. Have tried to find a DIY for mounting the Dension when no CDC or CDC preparation is in the car, but with no luck. Can I use the diagnostic connection in the glove box for this, or do I have to connect the Dension directly to the head unit? If to the head unit, how do I do this? Will have my car programmed to my dealer on monday so need to mount it this weekend.
Would apritiate it if anyone could point me in the right direction.
Best regards

I think if you do a search, you will find your answer. Sorry I can't help you since I do not have a Dension. Plan on mounting one in the future though. I have searched for this topic before and there is a ton of info on it.

I'm not so sure 'cuz I got CDC prep ... You can probably chain it to the diagnostic plug using the extra fiber loop from the GW500 kit but don't directly use the diagnostic port for the GW500 'cuz the dealer will need to have access to it for programming. Going to the main head unit it's what suggested but I think it's all in the same fiber loop. GL!
