right, i have 320GB HD, internal, so i bought it a case, and plugged it in the car using dension 500 and it worked fine, although i have to mention that it does take a while to synchronize with the car, anyway, it works, but later on i had a word with someone who gave me an advice which i found quite useful, the standard hard disks those we use on our laptops, pc and in the portable HD we're talking about, all have moving parts in them, which is sort of a disk moving inside, and once you tilt it a bit, and this is likely to happen in a car, then my friend you will damage it soon or later, so i was adviced to do one of two things, to get a usb stick and use it there, an ipod of ebay with a damaged screen or controls so that its cheap, or basically a solid state hard disk http://www.pcnation.com/web/details....04&item=CM6733 which is a bit expensive but its fast and reliable

anyway, i ordered a second hand ipod of ebay, 80GB for £80 which sounded like a bargain for me since the new one costs something like £160 !
anyway, i still haven't recieved it, should be here tomorrow morning
