I still haven't got the emblems from Bimmian though
. I asked Nick@Jlewi SW if they had the black letters and they sure have, except the letter "d"
.
So my backup plan is to paint the originals with serious preparation work. I'll spend next two weeks at work (out of home) and after that we'll see what's the situation with Bimmian letters...

I've never been a fan of badges on cars. I even went to the point of taking my last car to the body shop to have them weld the holes from the badges up and repaint the trunk lid to remove them. Haven't quite gotten to that point with my e60 but I have considered it. I say de-badge it.
