Don't worry, not another debadge debate.
I want to debadge but the car is 3 years old. I was wondering if after I remove the numbers if its going to leave a shadow/outline of the numbers. The color is Jet Black. If it does, I'll keep the badge.

It really depends on where you live, and how the car was maintained(wax/polishing)....3 years isn't all THAT long... however it might leave a very slight trace..

I took mine off recently, its an 04 and there was no impressions or any kind. Although my car is silver, I think if you give it a good buff once its off it should look pretty good. Also depends on the quality of your exterior paint up to this point, the better its shape the less likely there will be an impression. It looks good though, go for it!

I don't think you'll have any problems on an '07 so long as the paint has been maintained.

jet black here also. did debadge after four years and yes there was an outline. but like someone said earlier, just wax and polish and outline is gone. if yours is stubborn and won't come off, then re-badge with matte black emblems!
