Dear e60 forum members with BMW OEM 166m rims:

In order to clear up some things with BMW dealer here in Atlanta, I need the model number of your 166m's, and if you don't mind I need the name of the BMW dealer you purchased you 166m's from?

I think AL thinks you guys are buying 166 M replicas and not the real BMW OEM 166 M's, and if I bought the BMW OEM 166 Ms for mine and its not designed to fit on a non M5 then I could void some of my BMW warranty if I went that route, but I hope someone here at e60 forum sends me their 166M model numbers and their BMW dealer and state location so I can prove him wrong, and get mine by next week and installed by BMW dealer so I can keep my BMW warranty.

Hi Eddie,

Not sure what your "issues" are but I suspect they may be the same as I had. Dealer said you can only order them as replacements for an M5 blah blah blah.. Anyway I checked another dealers via spare parts and they said no problem. I told my dealer (who I was buying a new 540 from) and they checked again and said OK.. New car delivered with 166's no problem.

They fit fine and are available. I am travelling and do not have the invoice handy to get the part number, sorry.

Good luck with it but you will love them they look cool and without runflats ride surprising well.
