Default Daytime Driving light Conversion?

Is there a Daytime Driving light HID conversion out there for my 2004 530i? OEM uses these inner halogens for brights when pulling the lever but also uses them dimmed duing the day for DDL's.
Is there a way to use HID's for these inner halogens?

Thanks,
Randy

You don't want to install a HID kit in there and have it run as DRL, unless you run a relay. Otherwise it wouldn't be powered right.

Additionally though, it's obviously flash to pass as well, so throwing an HID in there would just blind people unnecessarily.

Maybe I'll find a decent halogen blue that looks like HID's for the inners. I hate to "cheap it out" though. I'll be upgrading my angel eyes LED's to match.

Here's my opinion of course, but the blue bulbs are no go, because when off, it makes the whole reflector look blue. It looks rather cheesy like that.

You are exactly right. What am I thinking! I'm not going to go that route. Those blue bulbs don't belong in a BMW.
Maybe I'll look into getting 10W angel eye LED's making them the daytime driving lights like the new Bimmers. There's probably a kit out there somwhere for this.

Thanks

You definitely can put in some LEDs in there. I would suggest looking for projector type with side emitting LEDs as well. That way you will still somewhat have the flash to pass function.

Additionally, you would most likely need resistors unless you can code out the checks.
