Judge for yourself - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LafY433oWrw

Not a great vid clip but it is late and I don't want to annoy the neighbours - will try and get some better clips over the next couple of days

Ahhhh that distinctive tractor sound at idle.......but towards the end of the clip where you rev it

...IMO.....reminds me very much like the audi R10 noises

The things I do for the e60 forum

Popped over to the nearest industrial estate to rev the car without disturbing anyone. I didn't realise before that the 535d won't let me rev above 4000rpm in neutral!

Not the best clip but you get the idea -

Word of warning - it doesn't sound as good as this in the car I'll try and get some vid/sound inside the car tomorrow, to compare.

Next project might be to strip out the soundproofing

Oh those twins man

Now you can hear that the car is for real with the sound of the turbos coming out like that

Where is Clarkson now to compare THIS 535d to the 545i

OMG, i really really like the rear of your car!!!!!

It is just FANTASTIC . And that soundclip is so fine for a diesel!

Damn, why is that just so far to install that. I would definitely want that, but it is a little bit far in my opinion.
But omg, i sure love it ALOT!

Congrats on your (new ) car with very nice sounding (and looking) quads.

(Hint: i don't know the meaning of that sticker on the left side of the trunk, but i would remove it...)

I can't do that!!! See here for more details on the sticker, and if still stuck ask around here
