How long will a car wrap last on my vehicle ? Are there any special precautions to be taken while caring for a wrap ? A couple of friends told about a Vehicle Wraps company in Ontario called Vehiclewraps.ca. They said that their wraps have a long life. Anyone else knows about this company ?

I've seen there website before. Are you looking to wrap matte black or Carbon? Or are you wanting to do advertising? I'd be curious to know what the cost is to wrap an entire car. TYhere are a bunch of guys with there roofs done I'm sure that they could chime in on the life span, it really depends on the product that is used though and whether the car will be garaged or outside all the time.

I was curious to do the carbon fiber on mine. I got a quote of $500 just for the roof with 4yrs guarante. It looks awesome but if you plan to keep it for a long time is not recommended. Well, the key is how long will you keep the wrap on and how much sun (heat) will the car be exposed to.
Below a M5 with carbon wrap.

$500 is an INSANE rip-off. Unless they are laying actual carbon fiber....around LA it would be 150-180 at a good shop.

To vinyl a roof takes maybe an hour for someone with a little ingenuity and the guts - and the material would cost you no more than $50 or so.

I would say it takes more than an hour on the e60's esp if you are doing it for the first time. I did it and it took me and a friend about 3 hours to get it how I wanted it. The sunroof is a bitc*. and its still not perfect.....

Just take your time and have a good friend help you out.
