it works right now, but the CCC I bought came from a car that didn't have BT, Sirius, or PDC, so those options don't show, however the nav and the voice recognition work like a charm. Once it's coded to the car those options will show.

I'm doing it for about $2500. I got a monitor and CCC off ebay, the rest new. More to follow Monday night, I've already gotten the progman update and monday I'm getting the retrofit coding done. keep in mind i've done the labor myself, the only thing I require the dealer to do is programming.

However, If i knew how to _ i would do it.
so yeah, labor + new parts would put u in the ball park i was thinking.
But if u r skiller like fvicente u can do it for 1/2 price. :-)

BMW does offer a portable Navigation.
I have done my reserach and i have decided on a garmin nuvi 260w.
it's does the job well and it's pretty compact.
