wow, if that's the case then I'm happy with my off-the shelf; it cost 90 bucks; no assembly required!

Wow... that's a bit steep.
I don't think I have that much pocket change (..pocket lint, maybe) to spare
Rather buy me the M5 rear bumper for that kind of dough...

I think the price you guys are posting is wrong. The way it works is you ship the kyosho model to him and pay half up front and the rest when he's done. Cost was around $90-$100 for the model and another $200-$300 for him to add the lights. You can add just exterior lights, interior lights or both hence the difference in price.

Thanks for the correction, GENEaTALS!

I checked out your link for details, and then searched "KYO BMW" in Google.. which got me to a KYO retailer, so I believe. Looks like they only have the M5, and it's in bronze (..yuck). Probably try to find the manufacturer site later to see if they have any black E60.

Nonetheless, it's an awesome M5 diecast, but my real-life ride is an 530i, and its black. Until I find the same as an 1:28 model from KYO, I definitely won't buy one (... I know, I know... I'm picky, ha ha! ).
Besides, putting working headlights in it - probably not of the same quality & detail, but hey... - I could probably do myself. Might be a nice wintertime project
