Not true.

I received my set of DWS a little over a week ago and just had them mounted yesterday morning. I absolutely LOVE these tires so far - a complete reverse from the SP Sport 01 runflats. Actually feels like I'm riding on rubber filled with air (amazing concept ) instead of bowling balls. The difference really is like night and day. I'd like to give a shout out to JC (JeRZee XiE60) for the great service at his shop, F1, who did the tire mounting and tinted my windows at the same time

Thanks Corey! Let me know if there's anything else you need. I should have taken a picture of our cars side by side.

I dont' know if it's better to revive this thread or start a new one on the topic, sooooo... whatever.

I've been looking (April 25, 2011) for Continental DW or DWS with no luck.

Has anyone had any luck finding any as of late? Everyone I've spoken to can get the fronts, but the backs are on back order with no ETA. (275/35-18 --- standard 550i Sport replacement).

FWIW, Discount Tire said they found a total of two in their inventory (DWS), but they were sold...

I bought a set of staggered 19" Conti DWS just last month from my local Discount Tire. They were ordered directly from Continental and came within a week. No problems getting them at all!

I got two new rear 275/30/19 DW two weeks ago and another one the week after (thanks to a screw in one of them less than a week after I bought them!) all came the day after my tire dealer ordered them.

The DW are great. I don't buy all season tires since I live in Miami and this car will never see snow.

Wow... well, consider yourselves lucky, because I've only found ONE other place that claims to have 3 or less... and I'm not confident with their credibility. Otherwise, I've been given an ETA of June by one vendor?which is not going to do it for me since I'm currently rolling in style with a compact spare.

I'm looking for the DSW also.

Discount Tire Prices (as of 6/6/2011):
Front: 245/40/18 $185
Rear: 275/35/18 $269

Discount Tire has the fronts in stock but the rears are on a nationwide backorder. The guys at my local discount tire had to call Continental directly to get that info.

Now I'm thinking of getting the Michelin Pilot Sport A/S Plus. Any opinions?
