Confused...will this cover fit my I-drive Knob?

What do you guys think? It says the 'outer diameter' is about 70mm, which I measured my knob and it seems to be slightly under 7cm. But the picture toward the bottom of the listing shows knobs in which it will not work on...so my question is what will it work on?
I like the idea of the cover and think it looks good (other opinions welcome...feel free to chime in), but I don't want to spend 45 bucks to find out it doesn't work.
