I did mine. Its not just simple plug and play.

Yoy have to add Lin bus wire from the seat module to the center console. Also the wiring for B pillar airbag sensor must be changed otherwise it will throw code on airbags and seat occupancy sensor.

Finish it up but adding the VO for comfort seat and voila.

Can you tell me what kind of seats you had originally? Was it full power with heat and lumbar? Now I'm hearing 2 different stories on plug-and-play compatibility.

Sorry to revive this thread. I just bought a set of comfort seats from a junk yard. donor car is 2008 528i LCI. Mine is the same. I only have electric seats with memory and no heat. How hard is it to retrofit the comfort seats with heat? I have the dash switch for the heat. I understand I need to prepare the wiring for the heat. I am just not sure about the rest. Please help.
FYI, I have the module that was in the donor seats. I have the entire seat with some partial wiring that goes under the carpet.

TIA

@Tejas Did you ever figure this out? I'm in a similar situation wondering how difficult it would be to add heat. Thanks
