H&R's shock body isn't all stainless steel?
Yes i've heard that H&R coilovers will rust after 2-3 yrs of usage..

From what I heard you can adjust the damping and rebound rate on the KW, while you can't really do that on the H&R. And I heard most people chose the KW because they are suitable for weekend track use as they offer plenty of different suspension setting. The H&R on the other hand provide softer ride which might be more suitable for daily driver.

Good to know, thanks guys. With the H&R's I've heard that you can adjust the ride height, but you can't adjust the dampening. So now I guess the question is, does anyone know where I can get a really good deal on the KW V2's? Also, what do you think about the H&R Anti Roll Bars?

I also just saw that the Bilstein PSS9 coilovers are available for the E60. How do these compare to the KW V2's?

only variant 3 has got compression AND rebound adjustable. V2 is rebound adjustable only.

Don't know about H&R, but the KW has got much better critics than the Bilstein coilovers.

Right, but the V3's are pretty pricy

The V3s are more applicable for race setup is my understanding. I don't even think they offer the V3 for our car.

The Bilsteins apparently have adjustable dampening for both compression and rebound like the V3's.

I have the H&R coilovers on my setup with 19 inch BBS and i am very happy no bouncing or rubbing, also no body lean in the corners and not overly stiff on the body or chasis, i looked into the KV's but to expensive for what i wanted had no intention on tracking or autocrossing. Also as far as the rusting issue it is likely possible but do or will you be constanly adjusting the ride hight? or will you like i did kinda set it and forget it? Though i am thinking of letting my load down a little more and i have only had them on for 4 or 5 months and the dealer installed mine for me for 600.00 bucks including the alignment

There is a japanese magazine that did a review on all available coilover suspension kit for the E90, and the Bilstein PSS kit tops the review in term of performance, followed by KW, H&R, and some other japanese brands. I'm not sure if this result is applicable for the E60

From my experience with the Bilstein PSS kit, it provide a very stiff ride(not very comfortable for daily use) , however cornering performance is top notch you will experience no body roll and nose dive Definitely the choice for race track junkie! I've also tried the H&R coilover kit on my friend's E63, and its sure is comfortable, able to minimise bodyroll, and provide consistent feedbacks during hard cornering.
