Save your money for the KW Variant 3. You won't regret it, I think the ride is even better than stock and moreover, nicer stance than stock. Don't waste your money on any other coilovers.

I understand where u come from but dropping 2k on coilovers on a car that sits in storage for the whole winter and driven just for late spring and summer then back to storage and on top of that don't intend to keep the car for more than Tamar summerS if thatI just need something to lower the car get rid of a little bit of gap so I can put in some 20 inch wheels that I like to buy that's all

car gets driven around town mostly some highway drivingFriday the car gets driven it maybe half an hour from where I live

Or if your going 20s get 245/35 and 285/30 size tires which keeps tolerances in check, gives you about a half inch more in gap closure between arch and tire, makes your Speedo read spot on and very rarely rubs only on rears. I get asked all the time what I am lowered on.

That is standard sport suspension for the 550i
To your OP i would go for the ST Coils as those are made by KW!

I'm thinking of just getting ksports . I just drive my wagon a couple times a week . Y friend has them on his 530 & it rides very smooth

Those with coils, what spring rates are you running? Linear or progressive? I'm wanting to order kine for daily drive duty. Not sure if 8k/6k linear are going to ride well.
