Coilovers---- KW Variant 2 or H&R coilovers?
#11
I was thinking of going with the V3's, what's the diffrence between the V2 and the V3?
Also what is the correct set up. I hear that twiking these can be a PITA.
So if those that have them can tell us what you have them set up. That would save some time.
Thanks

My vote goes to the KW V2's. Absolutely love the way they ride. Close to stock sport suspension.
I've heard H&R coilovers run a bit stiff. You can only adjust height, but no dampening. Ask BMWRINO, he has H&R coilovers.

Yup.. I have the H&R coilovers and I like them a lot.. made the drop look really nice.. some bumpiness at slower speeds on streets but firms up nicely on freeway... I was actually checking out the Bilstein PSS9 initially, but when my wheels came in, TireRack was on backorder for Bilstein, so I went with H&R.. saved a couple hundred with H&R (which I spent on other mods anyway )
