looking at that picture now, its confusing as heck. ill have to take another one at a better angle. for now thats what the back of my wheel looks like.

3/5 mm spacer; longer wheels bolts required?
Time to bust out a metric ruler and measure the hub lip and the inside hub of the wheel (from the inner edge where the wheel touches the hub to most likely the wear line). From there you can see if the 3 or 5 mm spacer will still let the wheel sit on the hub lip. You probably can use the stock lugs as long as you can get at least 7 full turns of the lug. I still use a stock size lug for my front wheels with the 5mm spacer (approx 8 turns of the lug). Just be sure to re torque your lugs after about 100 mls to ensure they are nice and tight.

ill apologize for my ignorance now.. but im not following.
a 3 or 5 mm spacer would still let the wheel sit on the hub since the hub lip on the car is approx 10 mm..
maybe im missing something.

Yes, but barely, larger spacers 10+ mm should have a lip built in. Which may be a consideration if your wheel hub is beveled like that.

Yes, hub centric spacers. The 12.5 was an option I was looking at but that wide will look like a monster wide truck stance and probably stress the bearings for my daily driver..
My friend has a generic spacer I'm going to try out and see what it's like.. If its bad I might just leave it until I can buy some quality varrstoen es1 wheels!

That's pretty cool. Never knew that they made these extenders.

ah perfect, i saw those on turner motorsports site but they dont sell the correct size for the e60.
few questions..
the wheel sits on the extender, and up against the lip of the spacer so there is a gap between the back of the wheel and the it meets on the car?
what size is that extender, they are measured in ID?
thanks for the info,, ill check out VAC motorposrts

72.5 i think like the one on the first pic is the size of the extender. Sorry but i cant find my invoice or reciept anymore. But when your order they ask which specific car you have so you'll be fine.
And your question about the way everything fits, its really snug like my spacers doesnt move at all, the hub extenders goes into the hole of the stock hub of the car with no movement what so ever, and when i put my wheels on, i have more hub compare to stock!! Hehehe
What spacers are you using? Make sure and check that when you put it on the car it doesnt make any movement. Check this one on youtube it shoudnt be shaking on place like that.
