From the discussion on M5Board, I figured I'd post a thread here for those in the Bay Area, CA to see if anyone would be interested in getting coding for their car to enable some or all of the below options. This will be done by Aleks (member doba_s) at Alekshop in Pleasanton. The cost for the first two options would be $150 and $50 for each additional option. Aleks might also be able to work a deal with anyone who wants to do a lot of options like 4 or more.

1.Enable remote folding mirrors
2.Enable remote windows/sunroof opening/closing
3.Enable remote hardtop folding
4.Enable One-touch sunroof venting
5.Enable TV/DVD-in-motion (only for the CIC)
6.Enable Euro front blinkers (disable US Sidemarkers)
7.Enable M3 (v= ) digital speedometer in the instrument cluster
8.Enable any lights as your Welcome Lights
9.Enable remote trunk opening/closing (X5/X6 only)
10.Disable iDrive warning
11.Disable door gong
12.Disable headlight washers
13.Disable a bulb check error (LED bulbs, HIDs, etc.)
14.Retrofit coding (OEM Alarm, Sirius, PDC etc.)
15.E9x LCI tail lights coding (all FRM versions)
16.Head Unit audio output coding (Stereo, HiFi, TopHiFi, Individual)
17. CIC Navigation retrofit

Let me know who's interested and maybe we can set up a coding session at his place. BTW, I have no financial benefit from this and just trying to help out local members. Here's a video demonstration: http://www.youtube.com/user/Alekshop

Not sure what you mean but your car was probably coded after the fact cause none of that comes standard with our cars.

Hey Jack, Aleks said he might be able to do it cause he's doing an LCI retrofit for an E90 right now. Maybe you can email him directly at info@alekshop.com.

I'll ask. I'm going to be out of town for the weekend so I'll see if he can chime in on this thread to address questions.
