How do you perform the coding? I imagine you're using some data interface to the car, but what is operating the coding software, a piece of hardware or is it PC based? If it's an application that can operate on a PC, would you consider "remote" programing? If I source a cable and obtain the applications, I can give you remote access from anywhere on the Internet, if the app is PC based.

Yes, remote programming is possible, but you would have to get the cable yourself, as I don't intend to ship my cable around to do the coding.

Here is an updated list. Unfortunately I can't edit my earlier posts:

No legal disclaimer at startup

Welcome lights (Sept 2006 build and onward)

Soft/Hard fade on fogs with fob unlock (Sept 2006 build and onward)

Fade on eyebrows with fob unlock (Sept 2006 build and onward)

AM tuner skip when you select next source (does not work for some people, might have to do with software version)

Allow high beam and fogs on simultaneously

Digital speedometer in cluster

Permanent instrument cluster lighting (cluster will always be lit; brightness adjustment can be made in all modes besides off)

Close car windows plus sun roof using key fob

Climate control fan speed display even with AUTO

Turn blinker in HUD

Trunk release by pressing once instead of holding

TV/video operation while driving

Auto unlock doors with key eject (no need to double pull to unlock; unlock can be set in iDrive)

Disable warning notification when key is in ignition and driver's door is open

Seat Climate menu in iDrive

Corner lights (pre-LCI xenon only)

Sidemarker lights with DRL (LCI only, needs to be tested)

Disable cold/warm bulb checks for turn signals to remove need for resistors

Disable/Enable pre-LCI DRL

Can Bluetooth and mp3 playback be coded, or is something else required to do that?

This can be done as well, I know the procedures, but haven't done it personally. Just being upfront
