Cheers.

High beam assist needs the extra light sensing camera under the rear view mirror.

What needs coding for BMW Online to function Blood? And do you need to have an active subscription to BMW Assist for it to work? (My trial one ran out a while ago).

Also did not know about the mirror dip function not needing memory seats, very interesting info...

For BMW online you will need an active assist account, Add $616 to the VO then code the TCU and CAPPL with the standard expert profile.

Useless, I enabled it and immediately disabled. And you lose the second button on the steering, as the M5 doesn't have it.

About the Mview on HUD, it works from 2006 cars.
By the way, it's possible to activate the Mview (on every E60) if you have the M5 cluster.

I tried this, didn't work for me - I have a December 2006 car. Once it's enabled can you switch between normal and M-HUD?

It's not easy: you need a few months on bmwecu forum (but you can't register to it now).

BenAnd: just 30 seconds for you.
From MY2006 always active. For old cars Mview should be possible with M5 cluster. I didn't retrofit the HUD yet so can't try, but I was told in this way by a Russian guy (very very very skilled).
