Hi guys, this coding stuff sounds awesome, would like to learn big time! I would kindly like to ask if there is anyone in the Toronto or surrounding area that I can bring my car to code and quickly teach me the basics.
I will pay of course for the time spent.
Many Thanks

I didnt tested yet. but you can activate with steer wheel key and adjust with cruise control stick.
It will work from 15km/h until 60km/h after that is automaticly off.
All of this is in the car manual

i have the option near pdc menu in idrive, also i have option in steer wheel keys menu in idrive but when i try to select it dont work
i will read the modules that i dont have readed yet and i will try to find what is missing.
i have a video of hdc in idrive i will post tomorrow.

Check in NCS when it is trying to read the ECU and see what PRG file it is trying to reference. Then use one of the file I've attached here. Rename .txt to .prg and then place that file in your EDIABAS ECU folder.
In terms of HDC, its a function of the DSC and works only on manual cars (I think), it just stops the car from rolling back for 3 secs when the brakes are not pressed. Helps you change gears without needing the hand brake. Its one of those great features that you absolutely miss when you are not driving a BMW. It also impresses your friends who don't know about the feature because they think you are lightening fast on your feet

You missed an option:-
DSC module HILLDESC_DXC_9_OC
KOMBI module HDC_VERBAUT
Verbuat is german for installed, according to the manual this function is only for cars with X-drive which might explain why it does not work but good discovery none the less.
