Noobie here!
I've got a 535xi on the way due in February, M-sport, Premium, Cold Weather, Logic 7,.. etc, Platinum Grey. I have already begun to plan my mods. The information here has been fantastic. Several of you have been very generous with your time and info already. Thanks!
I'm planning on putting snows on the Style 135's that come with the M-sport package and running 19's in the summer.
I love the look CSL's that many of you have put on you car. How hard are they to keep clean? Is it difficult to get brake dust out from the angles between the spokes?
I was also thinking about OEM Style 128's. There are OEM 128's made for the X3 which might work well on the E60 Xi's.

The X3 front 128's are 19x8.5 ET 46 ( I might use a 10-12mm spacer)
The x3 rears 128's are 19x9 ET51 ( Not necessary , but I might use a 10mm spacer here too The stock 19 x9 style 124's are ET55)
Another option would be an E60 rear 19x9.5 ET32 which by my calculation would extend out 29mm, which might be too much for me.
From what I can tell both the E60 and X3 have the same centerbore, 72.51, both are 5 X120mm, the only difference that I can find is that the X3 uses 14mm bolts and the E60 uses 12mm. Eibach sells the same spacers for both models.
Has anyone tried these?
Could this bolt thing amount to much difference?
Also what would be the draw back to using a 9" rim instead of 9.5 in the rear, if I intend on using a 275/30-19? BMW mounts a 275/35-18 on 9" style 124 rim that comes with the 535i sport package.
Thanks,
P4
