Don count me in. Just ordered a new front bumper from Trinity and will need a clear bra, and the fenders too.

Trinity is like 3 miles down from my house, haha.
I think I'll be doing partial hood/fender wraps first, and then the standard front bumper wraps. This way it'll keep costs down for most, and still offer the standard protection, with a bit of customization available for bumpers/parts/etc that companies don't offer precuts for.
When were you suppose to get the bumper in?

If you car is dark colour then it ok to do this.
If a light colour the film will become yellow after a few years.
I would do the hole part of the front not just part of it which will look stupid after a year or so

Kind of mis-information in your post. The film will not discolor anymore on a dark car than on a lighter car. Also, with a good quality film/brand, you shouldn't have worry about experiencing yellowing. Say you did clear bra your car with a material that eventually discolored. Having any part of it discolor will look horrible, regardless if it is just the front part or the whole front end.

Don, if I was to do it, I would have to do the whole front. I am way too picky and will end up staring at the line going across the hood. Once you know it is there you can't miss it.
Good luck bro

Material/brand does play into the thickness and quality of the film.
How much have you guys been quoted for the whole and partial paint protection clear bra wraps? I am trying to see if it is even worth it on the other end, based on the price of things, like what a previous member above mentioned.

it cost about the same in HK too that is why I never do it.
basically don't do it.
wast of money
you better off painting the hood again in a few years time which is alot cheaper
I like to know how much is it to paint the hood at your place.
in HK it only cost about $250usd

Starting to consider doing clear bra in addition to the current wrapping of cars/roofs/interior/etc.
Trying to get a general idea of what most members would prefer and your opinions, so I can get a good general idea of what I want to do.
The current most common option for clear bra is having the front quarter of the hood/fenders covered with the clear bra paint protection material.
However, I've seen some mention how they did not like the transition from the clear bra to the paint, where you can see the two meet each other. So in order to avoid this problem, it is possible to get material large enough to wrap the whole fenders and hood.
Any thoughts or ideas to this?

there are 2 brands of film in the market with 60 inch film and 3m has 54 inches long. go for it. it's not that different than what you are doing already.
