www.bavauto.com sells a 3M clear bra product which looks to be a bit less than the dealer. Price does not include install, so the price would probably be the same as the venture kit

Just search under invisible

I was just thinking yesterday that I should post this same question. I'm thinking about getting this also. My BMW Dealer quoted $500. I thought that was expensive, but I guess compared to the $750 someone else was quoted it isn't that bad.

If anyone has it, can you please post some pics? I have the Black Metallic paint, and just can't decide on this one...

I would say $500 is a deal. The premier installer here in the Dallas area wants $1000 plus tax for a custom 3M job. I have seen his work and it is good, but not that much better than my $575 Venture kit installation which included tax.

The first shop that normally recommended the premier shop, Stuart's, now recommends my fellows at Pro Tint after seeing the clear bra on my E60.

Sorry I missed your request for pictures. I also read further in the thread and see that you did some research and likely found the pictures I have. Here is one picture that I shot yesterday after 850 miles of highway driving through hard rainstorms and wet roads throuhg MS, AL, and FL on Monday. Car has not been washed. The bugs are almost non existent, maybe because of the Rejex/Clear Bra/Rain combination.

You cannot see the clear bra in this picture, but it is on the hood9 (above the lights), bumpers, and mirrors. Your black may be different.

As a side note, the Dunlops runflats passed everything on the road in very heavy rain with absolutely no cavitation. I never got that type of performance in rain on any tire I had on my E39.

The car has not been washed for 850+ miles Interstates, etc.

How about a clear bra for the entire car. It's a bit much, but some people have gone to this extent. I came across this thread, didn't read the whole thing, but found it interesting.

Is anyone planning to upgrade the front spoiler? If so are you still going to clear bra the stock spoiler at this time?
