Just ask yourself this question: Where did the word come from, and what is it based on? Think about that long and hard - think about the original words connotation, useage, and meaning. Hopefully it won't be so hard to believe after that. But here, let me help you out a bit:

"The term most likely stems from a portmanteau of the word white and the derogatory term ni*ger. The word is considered offensive by some because of its similarity to ni*ger in addition to reflecting stereotypical notions about urban blacks."

And here's a lil more WORD HISTORY

i dont think "wigger" is a bad or offensive term, heck jay-z invented "jigga" so everyone can use it!

You can't be seriously making that correlation sober.

I agree with advancelogic on this one. While I am sure too solid was not trying to use the term offensively, let's be serious, it's an offensive word. While one may not think so and possibly use such words commonly with their circle of friends and colleagues, words and terms with such derogatory roots should be used(if at all) with restraint in public places. I guess its kind of like the topic of this thread, with maturity taste in wheels changes, as does one's vocabulary. It is difficult to stop stereotyping when we continue to use stereotypical terms.....

I also agree with the idea of mods/admins coming in to clean-up and get us BTT...
