A similar chrome strip was standard on my e38 740i and it suited the lines of the trunk and the "overall" rear of the car quite well. For the e60 I feel it emphasizes the trunk (boot) break line in a way that doesn't work for me.

Well ironic thing is....

On E 39... Some countries had this chrome bar as a stock not aftermarket one.

that is the reason why some people started making this for e60

I have this and it doenst look that bad
