I have a 545i with standard 18 in rims. it goes back in 2 years and 2 month (Lease End). If I chrome out the rims now i can probably swap with some one that has an e60 when my lease is up. The cost his 600 plus shipping what do you guys think? If no one would swap i dont think the Leasing Company would care but I would not get any money back.

above is the rim guys ebay site, I know there is a member of E60 Forums that has chrome wheels if you can contact me to your feelings it would be appreciated

you can just have your wheels chromed. It will probably cost about $400.00 the lease co won't care. Plus if you don't end up giving it back at the end of the lease it won't matter. Just sell it, trade it in, or keep it and any mods you do won't matter.

call a wheel retailer, or Look up a chrome shop. I don't have any refrences in new york, but it is easy to do out here in CA. Just so you know, the brake dust eats chrome, so unless you clean them at least once a week, I would leave them stock. My business partner chromed his about five months ago and they look like S#&*. Better yet put some 19 or 20 inch wheels on it!!!!!!

Prefer the stock one. I think the chrome one are for honda civic or whatever the name of those cars that teenagers are using these days.

The company which ownes/sells Assanti wheels is in Orange County. HW Motorsports. I have done business with them and they are GREAT!! They gave me a great deal on my Suburban wheels and tires. Lary is either the owner or manager. He is the one who makes the decisions and was excellent to work with. I have the number if anyone wants it.
