Chrome or Black kidneys
#1
I recently installed matte black kidney grills. I liked how they looked in pictures on other cars, but not sure if I like them on mine. Hard to see, but I also changed out the chrome/white led sidelights for smoked with yellow lights. All from Trinity, thanks Nerwyll!
Maybe I just need to get used to them.
Why do I have a feeling i'll be plastidipping my rims soon.
Here we go towards the Dark Side!...
Opinions on the grills?

Matter of how you like your E60 really.
The chrome definitely makes the front stand out more. If I still had a pair of chrome grilles, I would throw it back on just to switch things up, lol.

I had the matte black grilles...looked cheap to me. I put my chrome ones back on with the OEM gloss black slats. Maybe I'll put the OEM gloss black on to change things if I'm in the mood.
If I were you I would stick with chrome or gloss black.
P.S. For the wheels, there are a couple of members here that painted the center indented strip on each spoke black. It looked pretty good. You can use plastidip for that to see how it looks.
