Thumbs up

I want to order Breyton Race GTS rims for my 2008 530i

TireRack only has a 535i model.

Do you think there is any difference between 530i and 535i ?

Here's the wheel info from their site (just in case)

18"
Offset: +35mm
Backspacing: 6.06"
Bolt Pattern: 5-120
Rec. Tire Size:245/40-18
Weight: 22.0lbs.

As long as it is not xi you can use any kind of wheels regardless of model number...

isnt offset too high though?
i was looking at one from tirerack as well for 19" and it gave 35mm .

i think it needs spacer...

does anyone with GTS did you have to use spacers?

They wont fit, well they will on a 3 series!

Rears you can run 35 offset, but fronts max is like 25mm

Find wheels that are hubcentric and that have offsets from 15-22

The Oz Rims listed there had 21 offset for their staggard setup

I agree that the offset is too high for the front. spacers go in between the hub and the wheel, pushing the wheel outward and decrease the offset number. say you have those wheels with ET35, a 15mm spacer will bring it to ET20 which is the desired offset range for the front. spacers are mainly used for cosmetic looks to bring the wheels more flushed with the fender, but may be necessary because of offset like with these wheels. PM replied btw.

I just got a reply from tire rack.

Hello, Thanks for your email. Yes these will fit fine. I would recommend call me directly so I can ensure what you order is a good fitment.

Regards,

Rudy

Are they bullshiting me?

Wow really, well its not surprising all their test cars are 3 series. The front will work you have to get a hubcentric spacer from H&R along with longer wheel bolts, I am sure nerweezy could get you that info, Its been a trend lately I have seen where wheel people are pushing the wrong stuff on to customers, I gotta find that link where a member like your self bought the rims from a supplier that said would fit and he put them on, and because the offset wasnt right the strut took out the outer edge lip of the rim.
