Default ...choices for 535i

I own a 535i and I want to give it a bit more pep. I decided on upgrading the exhaust, but since I have 3 kids I am going to buy either AR downpipes or RPi exhaust. For all you experts which one would be the best decision. BTW I have researched and trolled multiple websites.

What about a tune? Cheaper than both and you get noticeable gains.

Do you mean valve adjustments? What all is involved and where?

Look up jb4 or Cobb tune for your car. It's a ecu reflash. In school terms "chipping" your car. You get close to 100 horsepower

Oh, i misunderstood. I'm totally aware of those tunes. I currently have an SSTT2, and planning on Cobb in the future. I'm just thinking about upgrading the exhaust system, and it's either the RPi exhaust or AR Downpipes.

RPI has a group buy on their exhaust, from what I've heard its supposed to be great. I would go with that and I'm not sure if RPI is a limited run or not. That's another reason to go with it if it is.

Why? Is it be ause of it being best bang for your buck? Better sound? Or just better gains?

Its the first restriction, you still will get a bit of sound deeper note and a bit of turbo sound.
Quicker spool. So yes best bang for the buck..

i have the remus axle back and it sounds great no drone whatsoever and the one sitting in the back wont notice a thing... moreover remus has the new power box that comes with an adjustable valve so when u want it to be loud open the valve all the way and when u want it to be quiet put it halfway and moreover the carbon fiber tips are very sick looking and from what i know rpi drones a lot... i have remus and happy with it... now u can go with remus or eisenmann ... best 2
