vishnu makes a "chip" for the twin tubo 335i that gives those kinds of gains. its called "procede". im not sure if they came out with anything for the 535i yet, but it is the same engine. i know those with the procede on the 335s are more than happy with them and is definitely worth it for them.

The options available for the N54 engine shared by the 335i and 535i are RDSport Black Box, Active Autowerke Xede, Second Split Turbo Tuner offered by EuroBahn, and of course Vishnu PROcede. I don't believe Dinan has any offerings for the N54 yet. Cavet empor- If found by the dealer, they are within their right to void your warranty. Would I get one of these if I had a 335i/535i? Absolutely, I'd be grinning from ear to ear.

I know someone who's been using the Active Autowerk Xede and he's given it a rave review.

Can also be upgraded and have further software developments downloaded

He said it was rather easy. First time took him 40 minutes, but he reckons he can do it in 20 now.
Below is a link to the fitting instructions

I think the ECU flash/upgrade is the single most significant mod (that's within reasonable price) that you can do to your 335/535.

I contacted Vishnu about the PROcede. To see if it will work with the 08 535I (n54) engine. I am still awaiting his response.
