Anyone purchase the ACS style wing and the rear spoiler from ebay
does it really make a difference in fitment or how it looks if its not real

its pretty cheap compared to the real
do you think its worth it at all or ONLY buy the real
basically would it look different or fit wrong otherwise does it really matter if its real???

i was wondering the same thing...anyone purchase an acs replica roof spoiler from ebay? ....benz im sure the quality is nothing like the acs...but if the fitment is good, why not... its just a spoiler.... if it was a body kit or something i would definitely go for the real thing, because quality does count on something that big. just my .02 cents

i def agree with you bc its just a roof spoiler and a decklid spoiler and is it actually worth like 1100 dollars for both???

seriously... and i believe even the acs one is made out of fiberglass just like the replica ebay one... i think im going to just order the roof spoiler and get this deck lid spoiler off of ebay

IMHO it looks a liitle bit boy racer and how you would expect to see E60's when the next 5 series is launched.

Go for it though if you like at that price - who cares if its not the original

Yeah sorry assuming to much. In the UK when the second hand prices of the 5 become affordable to all (not wishing to sound - you know) they tend to drip them with all sorts of go faster accessories making them look a tad, ahem, cheap

I have owned several full ACS engined and kitted cars and can only say.. if you can afford the BM it seems a shame not to buy the OEM parts....
I know that when i sold a z3 that i had AC'd the buyer wanted all receipts to prove original equipment and professional fitment.... beware that these 3rd party parts don't devalue your car at resale...

I have seen plenty of e36 M3's with "replica" AC wheels etc and at first glance they look ok.. only when you get close or next to the real deal do you see the small differences...
