Hello

I own an E61 535d and it is time to change the front rotors, and pads such as the brake oil!

My doubt is this, i don?t want to use the BMW material so i would like to know wich brands exist that have rotors for this car, such as the other things that i need!

I thought about brembo and tar-ox , but are there any others?

I want to mantain the system , so i?m not looking for "big brakes upgrade"!

Thanks in advance for your help!

For Pads, I changed to the Axxis Deluxe Plus - similar feel to stock but without the dust. I have had no noise issues.

Just make sure you properly bed-in the pads

There is also good recommendations on EBC Greenstuff brake pads. Rotors, I don't know.

You could try upgrading to the M5 rotors and pads.

For aftermarket rotors, try this link http://www.zeckhausen.com/BMW/E60.htm
They offer centric rotors for the e60 which I've heard are the same as stoptechs, but I cannot verify this. Dave Zeckhausen is quite knowledgeable about brakes, so he should be able to answer your questions.

Axxis deluxe or ultimates are good street pads. They are also offered in the above link. What type of pad depends on what you want though, low dust, bite, noise....

Brake Fluid: Motul 600 or ATE super blue. Or save some money with valvoline synthetic.

SS brake lines.
